Maryland trio $100 Girlfriend generate a signature dream pop haze with a psychedelic bouquet of sounds that recall Madonna, and more recently St. Vincent, Sylvan Esso, and Phantogram.
Cashing in on the band’s debut EP Easy To Please, the Baltimore-based outfit are currently in the studio working on the follow up to their 2019 record.
Vocalist/bassist Melody Easton leads the group, which is rounded out by Dan Ryan and Jon Birkholz — both of whom spend time in crosstown act Super City.
