Debuting today with Spill Magazine, it’s the second breath taken from Paper Birds — the Buffalo-based musician's highflying debut album. Set to release this winter, the record shines with an undeniable sense of wonder and scenic exploration.

"I wrote ‘The Chase’ about a person who's lost in a world of uncertainty. The character reflects on the choices he made throughout his life and begins asking the existential question, "Is it all a give, or is it all a take?" This song is a piece to an overall story about two people falling in love in a changing world, and 'The Chase' is the point in which the relationship comes to an end."
