Brother Oliver Shares Cryptic New Song Via Live Performance At The Peace Center

Today, Brother Oliver, a familiar member of the Future Chord family, shares with us their live performance of “The Orchestra (Is In My Head)”, which is the first new song we’ve heard from the band since their self-titled record released this past August.

The cryptic new song is lyrically concise and instrumentally progressive, something a bit different than what we’re used to hearing from the South Carolina folk-rockers.

Notably, the performance was filmed inside the Peace Center — a renowned 2,100-seat concert hall in Greenville, South Carolina. Circumstances surrounding the shoot still remain somewhat of a mystery, as the band has shared very few details regarding the live session.

Watch Brother Oliver’s live performance of “The Orchestra (Is In My Head)” below, and keep your eyes peeled for more happenings from them very soon.

Huffington Post Reviews the New MyFever Album

maxresdefault_orig.jpg

Huffington Post highlighted the new MyFever album this afternoon, giving it a “hella rad” rating (or 4 out of 5 stars) and drawing comparisons to Kings of Leon and Modest Mouse.

Give Born for Spaces a spin below, and grab your own copy here.

MYFEVER's latest EP release, "Born For Spaces” (2017), has opened a new iteration of the band's sound. The first single "Golden" captures listeners in a suspended state of endless space. A choir of massive guitars and airy drums place you in a semi-fantasy state of mind, as the search for the “Golden Horizon” is voiced. The track “Childhood Keepsake, Circa 1991”, reveals a more tender side and embodies a consistent theme throughout the EP that is pure nostalgia. The sonic behavior of the songs feels almost familiar at first listen like sentimental memories emanating audio. Small hometown roots can be found in every note and every lyric. It’s honest, unapologetic and bolstering of a clear humanistic message.
