Comprised of Cliff B. Worsham and Javier Bolea, RBTS WIN forge their own brand of cerebral pop music in the heart of the Appalachian mountains. Invoking the harmony and chaos of analog synthesizers and old-school samplers, the collective of sonic adepts have grown a cult following throughout the southeast.
As much as the Asheville-based duo’s work eschews formula or convention, they frequently explore themes of love, spirit, and connection, along with musical references to the natural world. A mainstay at MoogFest over the years, the band has gained a reputation for cathartic live performances awash in voices, guitars, analog synthesizers, and drum machines — returning to stages post-covid in support of their upcoming full-length album, happy_sad.jpg.
