Secret Towns Join Future Chord Roster; Premiere “Still Life” via New Noise Magazine
Set to arrive this autumn, indie rock trio Secret Towns have announced their debut album Nightlights — and they’ve partnered with Future Chord to handle publicity for the full release.
The Atlanta-based outfit is also sharing the record’s lead single today, which is premiering now in New Noise Magazine. A constellation of dreamo rock and guitar pop that orbits Wild Nothing, DIIV, and Beach Fossils, listen to “Still Life” down below — led by guitarist Luke Thornton, bassist Sam Pena, and drummer Harry Dulaney.
With production from Damon Moon at Standard Electric Recorders Co. and additional mixing from Benjamin Etter (Franz Ferdinand, Deerhunter, Cut Copy), Nightlights is a 10 song collection of guitar-pop with ambient post-punk elements, echoing a nocturnal psychedelic sound.
