Toronto Rapper Skip Waiters Inks Deal with Future Chord; Debuts New Single

If you hang around music circles in his hometown of Toronto, you’ll hear the name Skip Waiters come up time and time again. He’s been building a buzz as a hit producer in Canada for the past several years, and now he’s stepping out to begin his own hip-hop career.

Premiering today at Variance Magazine, spin his new single “Die Always” — a golden halo of melodic rap that shines like Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, and Schoolboy Q. It's the latest from Waiter’s debut mixtape, Personal Stereo, out May 21st — which takes us into the life of Skip as he reflects on his childhood and hardships growing up.

With the signing of Skip Waiters, Future Chord continues to develop an exciting publicity roster in 2021 following recent deals with Chicago indie rockers Pansy and Baltimore dream pop quartet Leisure Sport.

Bounce over to Skip’s artist profile page to read his full biography — and stay tuned for more from our camp in the coming weeks ahead.
