Emerging Canadian rapper Skip Waiters unleashed his debut mixtape, Personal Stereo, to critical acclaim last month — when it was picked up by multiple Spotify official playlists (New Music Friday, Northern Bars, and Outliers) as well as Amazon Music, who made Skip the face of their playlist ‘The New Black’.
Today he’s reloaded and ready to share a new music video for “Handgun”, one of the mixtape’s standout tracks. Debuting over at Ones To Watch, check out what Skip has up his sleeve in the slick cinematic experience directed by Noah Douglas.
In case you missed it, the Toronto artist was recently named a 2021 Musician To Watch by Hello Canada and featured in Variance Magazine — who compared Skip to Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean and ScHoolboy Q “with his confident flow and earnest lyricism”.
